Timed around some of the river’s best hatches and optimal conditions, this is an incredible opportunity whether you’re a seasoned angler or looking to learn and improve on the water.
This special retreat will feature celebrity host Bernard Ramanauskas of Eden Cane & Freestone Fly Rods, offering a rare opportunity to connect with one of the most respected names in the sport.

The Experience

Stay at Lakewood Camps
Experience one of Maine’s most historic sporting camps, with all meals included and access to the surrounding wilderness.w letters, that works well on almost every site.

Legendary Water
Fish the Rapid River during one of its most productive windows, timed around prime hatches and optimal conditions.

Celebrity Host
Spend time with Bernard Ramanauskas of Cane Fly Rods, one of the most respected bamboo rod builders in the sport.

Fishing Experiences
Fish independently or enhance your trip with a guided experience. Guided participants also have the option to access remote backcountry ponds via seaplane—reaching some of the most untouched and productive waters in the Maine wilderness.
Cost
$500 per person
(3 nights lodging + all meals included)
This same 3-night experience typically costs $1,050, making this a rare opportunity to experience Lakewood Camps at a significantly reduced rate.

Lodging is in shared, rustic Maine cabins, with two people per bedroom (two twin beds per room). You can book a full cabin if you’re coming with a group, or sign up individually and be placed in a cabin with other participants based on gender.
Fishing Options

DIY Fishing
Fish on your own and explore the Rapid River and surrounding waters at your own pace. This is a great option for experienced anglers who are comfortable navigating new water.
(Participants bring their own gear)
The Guided Experience: $700 (based on shared guide with two anglers)
For those looking to get the most out of their time on the water, guided trips are available through Baxter Guide Service.
Guided trips can make the experience even more memorable—helping you get into fish, read the river, understand hatches, and build confidence on the water.
Guided package includes:
– 2 full-day guided trips
– 2 half-day guided trips
– 1–2 anglers per guide
Guided trips are typically $900 per person. Revive participants can book this experience at a discounted rate of $700 per person (shared guide).
If you are signing up as an individual, we will do our best to pair you with another participant to share a guide. If no match is available, there may be an option to book a private guide at an additional cost.
Guided participants also have the option to add a fly-out experience via seaplane, offering access to remote backcountry ponds and some of the most unique fishing opportunities in the Maine wilderness.
